3+ Early Learning Program
Our Program aims to develop school readiness and encourage self-help and independence in young children. Bookings are taken on a term by term basis. For further information, see the below Parent Information pack and Enrolment Forms.
Karingal Playgroup is a gathering of similarly aged children and their parents or caregivers.
The regular groups support children's social development, ease the transition to school, and improve overall health, while also providing social and health support to parents, knowledge sharing, and learning opportunities.
Karingal runs two play sessions and one tiny tots session in Paraburdoo. Active Play & Tiny Tots on Mondays and Playgroup on Wednesday
$5.00 per session or $50.00 per term
Monday: 8.30am - 10.00am
Tiny Tots (Ages 0-2)
Monday: 10.00am -11.00am
Wednesday: 8.30am - 10.00am
Boomerang Bags is back at Karingal.
Monday evenings - 6.30pm - 8.00pm
Boomerang bags is a grassroots, community driven movement lead by volunteers in Paraburdoo. Through Boomerang Bags, volunteers create friendships, upcycle fabric, learn new skills and collectively reduce the use of single-use disposable plastic items, most notably bags.
Te Kohanga Reo iti o Paraburdoo
The Little language Nest Paraburdoo is held at Karingal every Thursday of the school term at 10.30am - 12.30pm.
Te Kohanga and Nanny Ani teaches, promotes, encourages and nurtures the unique Maori Language of New Zealand to toddlers and children aged 0-4.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
Your Time Cooking
Karingal offers various volunteer run cooking classes in plenty of cuisines, including Italian and Thai. Super fun, recreational cooking for the community where you can cook and feast on delicious food from around the globe, using fresh, sustainable and ethically sourced produce.
We are always looking for volunteers keen to share their cuisine with the community, get in touch if you would like to run a your time cooking class at Karingal.
